Deaf senior citizens of Maryland had been coming to CSD office on a monthly visit for various events, such as meeting, gathering, workshops and more. This had come to a screeching halt. The coordinator/director or whatever was immediately asked to leave the office...without a warning. Just like that, at the snap of fingers.
No explanation.
No earlier notification.
No reason whatsoever.
Again, this has me pissed off.
Frederick has over 5,000 Deaf people residing in this town. Deaf senior citizens from all over the state came to Frederick for CSD sponsored events. Without CSD, the next possible stop is MSD. People of different places WILL come to MSD seeking for information that CSD should be the center to do that. Needless to say, MSD is an educational setting, not an outreach center for the entire state.
Ben, that fat CEO raked approximately $800K and he is sitting in the throne chair. There goes my belief that when a person is greedy a moral compass is lost. I believe that is the case for Big Benny.
WAIT! This just came in!
New light of information just surfaced. CSD lost its VRS Certification. The cash flow stopped. Ben is broke. This reeks a pity party.
NO pity here, not what you did to the Frederick's Deaf community. It was done in a very poor taste and un-business-like. When a business has to close its door a courtesy letter of notification would be a good thing to do. It's a common sense. Really.
Ben, you owe them this much.
